Positive news

I realised I'd not posted for a while, and also that my last post seems very negative but guess it was how I felt at the time.

I've had a really positive few days, and also significantly got through a weekend when the girls weren't here without drinking - this has given me a confidence boost.

I'm off to a meeting tonight, and confess this is my first for nearly 2 weeks. I realise this isn't good, but it's where I'm at for the moment. It annoys me that I feel I should feel guilty for not going to meetings - I don't feel guilty but I've been reluctant to "admit" to not going - I don't understand this but looking forward to going back tonight.

Things at home are OK as long as I keep positive - this has been possible in the past week or so so I suspect that's why I feel so much better. As long as I keep positive, keep things in the day and don't pick up a drink the world is a better place!

Spam blogs deleted

Looks to have been some action over the last couple of days in bloggers spam dept.I notice now a lot of blogs have been deleted.Thankyou Blogger.
The Big-Bloger and BIG-Blogger account still exist.Will be interesting to see what happens with those.

Spammers hidden blog links

I notice that some of the blogs I have reported for porn spamming have changed tact.
Either they were deleted and reregistered within a day or so or have now turned to spam other things

Mainstream Family sites hiding porn links

Another bug bear is the growing number of expired mainstream domains used to promote pron.The adult serps in google especially are full of expired domains, either with hidden links on otherwise inocuous pages or have porn pages built deep within the structure of a site.
This one has both.

Have a look at the profile of this blogger.

The guy has 50 blogs in one account when us mere mortals can only have a maximun of 10.
Notice all were registered on the 23 jan 2006.All have 1 post on them, the same post.The number 4.
Just coincidentally all 50 sites have a pr of 4.
I suspect that this is the account of someone inside blogger ready to either sell on the black market or to use for themselves.
I have reported this on Matt Cutts blog Matt said that he got that feedback at SES NYC as well and that he'll .."be passing that on to the blogger team".
I just hope it doesn't get passed to the wrong member of the blogger team.
Make no mistake, this isn't the work of someone with no connections to blogger.
What Blogger do when a Blog gets deleted by its owner is just change the password.
You try and register the thousands of blogspot domains that get deleted.

You will find it nigh impossible.
But if you have access to the password then all is possible.The big question is will Blogger investigate thoroughly enough to catch the inside man?

Blogger allows deleted blogs to be reregistered

Blogger deleted all the blogs on the list of my last post but then allowed the perpetrator to reregister them.
I was able to register some as soon as I found out and I noticed a couple others were snapped up by other parties snailtrax being one.

Hi TC is my name and catching spammers is my game.Actually, much more than a game, its almost an obsession since I found a former blog of mine used to spam porn links.
